Clapham Relief Fund is a local grant giving charity which helps those who are facing financial hardship in Clapham and the surrounding area.  Click here to see if you qualify. We welcome applications for grants from both individuals and organisations.

Applications from individuals can be made to buy, for instance, household goods, clothing or training courses. Individual grants do not generally exceed £300, although this might be a part payment for items costing more if additional funding is available from other sources. Click here for a list of examples and here for what others have said about us.  Applications must be supported by a sponsor and all payments are made direct to the sponsor or to the supplier.

As well as helping individuals, the charity also gives financial grants to help organisations and groups which offer services to those in the area. These grants can be given to support specific projects or to purchase equipment.

The Trustees meet four times a year to review the applications and to make decisions on the grants. In the case of urgency decisions can be made between meetings. The 2026 meetings will take place on 10th March, 16th June, 22nd September and 8th December.

Completed application forms should be submitted at least ten days before the meetings.

"I am really grateful for the help from Clapham Relief Fund to purchase household items and clothing for my four boys. It has been a real life saver, especially with rising costs and it helped me greatly " - Michelle
