Some examples of items and services for which grants may be given to make life easier for those experiencing financial hardship:
Household Items & Clothing

Furniture, washing machines, dryers, fridge freezers, cookers, heaters, bedding, clothing, footwear, carpets and curtains.
Housing

Paying for decorating, insulation and repairs.

Cost of alterations to the homes of people who are disabled or unwell.
Training and Work
-
Costs of tuition fees, training, books, exams and tools, especially if they lead to improved employment opportunities and the prospect of applicants supporting themselves in the future.
Other examples

Paying for travel to visit relatives in hospitals, care homes, children’s homes or prison.

Giving money to other charities or organisations which provide support for local people in need.
NB Please Note:

The Trustees will not give money to pay debts or where there are existing funding sources available.
